This article discusses the issues and debates on the social media platform Instagram. It describes it as if it is a sinister figure that consumes the user through interaction.

  • Instagram hasn’t changed society, it’s only amplified what’s already there. Millennial or not, humanity still remains bound by the same basic fears and impulses: We’ve always been scared of being alone, and constantly in despair of our own selves.
  • Instagram isn’t a tool for unbridled evil. And it’s disingenuous to say so, since its reality is far more of a double-edged sword; one that we take so much from, but one that we can also ultimately be consumed by.
In my opinion i feel like this article is too exaggerated in terms of the action this app does to an individual. People can control themselves on what form of media they consume and they have control on the effects it puts on the user.

Briefly list or describe the different waves of feminism. Feminism is the advocacy of women's rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes. It is categorised in three different waves and stages of its timeline. The first wave of feminism was thought to be made during the early 1900's. it was the time where the difference between men and women was established and the fight for equality started.
